This month's giveaway is from Mrs. Joan Anderson, Bibb County Chapter Coordinator of Project Linus. For 16 years, she has given away blankets to children in need from newborn to 19 years old within Middle Georgia. This year, she surpassed 78,000 blankets donated and continues to distribute 200-400 blankets a month. She credits her volunteers who consistently and wholeheartedly serve with their time and talent to crochet, sew, and knit beautifully-made creations. According to Mrs. Anderson, 'They are not just blankets, they are really hugs. And, a hug is not a hug until you give it away.' We thank Mrs. Anderson and all the Bibb County Linus Project volunteers for their generosity and kindness.
